Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English actress and model who became famous in the 90s as Hugh Grant's lover was the former English model. As the film of Grant Four Weddings and a Funeral received global public attention, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. It instantly brought her fame in the media. One of the highlights of Hurley's professional experience is her relationship with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. They offered Hurley her first modeling gig at the age of 29. They have used Hurley as a model in its products especially perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures since 1995. In the movies that are a hit with fans, such as International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley currently models and designs a beachwear collection named after her. She made a greater splash a few months later, with the track I Kissed a Girl an assertive ode to the fascination of sexuality accompanied by a rough electronic-pop beat. The song caused controversy with some critics accusing it of promoting sexual relations between men and women, while others saying that the sexually explicit scene was created to appeal to the male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl, the combination of excitement with a sophisticated tune, allowed I Kissed a Girl to be a top-rated hit in many countries and drive sales of her 2008 album One of the Boys. Hot N Cold is a popular second track. Perry also wrote a lot of the lyrics for the album.
